Frequently Asked Questions
   -   (FAQ)

Q) What documents do I need to apply for a loan?
A) Copy of ID, latest payslip, 3 months bank statement, proof of residence and your bank card.

Q) How will I know if my application is successful or declined?

A) Either the office personnel or rep/agent will contact you regarding your loan. We will keep you updated on what's happening.

Q) How long will it take before I receive my money when my application is approved?

A) It will take 1-2 days, depending on if you are a new or existing client and who you bank with.

Q) What if I am blacklisted, have judgements or under debt review?
A)
Unfortunately we will not be able to  grant you a loan if it was in the recent year. In some cases, depending on the date you went under these circumstances we will make a decision based on your credit record and background check.

Q) Do I need to come to the branch and make a loan?
A) No, one of our agents will come and see you. (Just click on the "Services" tab at the top of the page and it will direct you to all our available agents in the Pretoria and Johannesburg area. Call them to make an appointment with you).

Q) How does the repayment work?
A) A debit order goes off on your account for the installment amount you signed for. The installment will be automatically deducted from your account on the agreed date. If you notice that your debit order didn't go off, contact your branch to reschedule your debit order so that your loan amount doesn't fall in arrears and nothing is outstanding.

Q) What happens if I don't pay my loan back in time?
A) We give you 2 months to come up to date with your installments. If we don't hear or receive anything from you we will be forced to take legal action against you. We understand people have emergencies or financial problems. Call us if you are stuck in a situation so that we can see where we can help and assist you and arrange a better repayment plan for you.

Q) Can I have more than 1 loan running on my account?

A) - For new clients, No. - For existing/old clients, Yes. We work out the number of loan(s) you have and the installment amount according to your Nett Salary (after deductions) and how many cash you withdraw. We then decide what loan and installment amount will suit you best.

Q) How do I receive my loan (cash) once it's been approved?
A) We do a direct EFT to your bank account (normally between 2pm-4pm on Weekdays and 10am-1pm on Saturdays). This means the money will be available in 1-2 hours after the payment.

Q) How do I get hold of SP/HS and PD Microloans if I am unhappy about something?

Yes, all our branches and companies are registered and authorized to run and operate according to the NCR.

Q) Can I apply for a loan if I have a joint bank account or use a relative or friends account?
A)
No, the account has to be on your name and the salary based on your payslip must reflect on the salary amount on your bank statement. You cannot use someone else's account for your own financial purposes regarding a personal loan.

Q) When I make a loan, will it impact my credit record?
A)
Your credit record will improve once your loan is paid in full on the agreed date without hassle.

Q) If I switch banks or change my banking details, what do I have to do?
A)
To contain a clear record with us, please inform us immediately. This will also affect your ability to apply for a loan at any other financial institution with a bad credit record.
